An all-day school charter.  They caught a good mix of cod, haddock, and pollock.  Unfortunately, they had to throw the majority of them back.  No shorties on this boat, Mister!  This weekend marks the start of our half-day mackerel trips…What’s the old saying?  "God willing and the creek don’t rise."  Yeah, that’s the one.  We still have space for Saturday, Sunday, and Monday (Memorial Day).

Last regularly scheduled all-day trip of the season.  The fishing was "Very Good".  A good cod/haddock mix with a nice run of pollock.  Not a lot of size (pool winner was a 12-lb. pollock), but still a very good trip.  Our morning half-day trips begin next Saturday (May 25), with good spots still available.

F.Y.I.  No fishing trip this Sunday (May 19).  Tomorrow (Saturday, May 18) is it for all-day fishing.  We still have spots available.  Be there!  Aloha!

A half-day mackerel charter today.  All the mackerel you could want.  Hell, all the mackerel anybody could want.  Captain’s rating: "Excellent"!

Not too stemmy a start to the day, and some no-shows, but still a good crowd of hale and hardy fishing folk aboard the AQ II on this fine day in May.  The fishing?  The fishing gets a rating of a solid "Good" (maybe a little better than that).  A nice cod/haddock/pollack mix amid less than ideal conditions.  But, hey, folks caught fish and they all came back in one piece.  Can’t ask for more than that.  No trip tomorrow, so next Saturday (May 18) is the next trip.  Good spots are still available.
